Certificate of authenticity included. Walter James West ARBSA (1882-1942) West was a regular teacher of drawing at Vittoria Street Jewellery School, where he worked until his death in 1942. Mr West became an associate of the RBSA in 1936 and was a recognized artist amongst his peers, frequently exhibiting at The Birmingham Art Circle throughout the 1930s. He mostly exhibited landscapes in watercolor often depicting seascapes, architectural and topographical scenes. This is one of his rare oil paintings.
